Legal Review and Post-Closing

When you outsource your legal review to Hurd-Harter, we provide a comprehensive review of all legal documentation according to the guidelines of your company and/or those of your investor. We can use your prepared checklist or we can create a checklist that will ensure a thorough analysis of your post-closed loans.

Documents reviewed include, but are not limited to:

Legal Review

• Note (with modification)
• Mortgage/deed of trust
• Assignment(s)
• Title commitment/policy
• Survey
• Wood destroying organism report
• Disclosures
• All pertinent closing documents
• Return original file to client

Post-Closing
All of the above, plus:

• Perfect any deficiencies in the file
• Submit original file to investor with a copy file to client

 Government Review/Submission

• Review HUD case binder to assure it is in proper order and ready for submission
• Review VA package for completeness
• Perfect any deficiencies and submit files to government agencies or
• Return files to your office for perfection and submission
