History

Mary Kay Hurd retired from a major mortgage banking company after serving many years as Vice President and Manager of the Underwriting Department.  In September of 1993, Hurd-Harter Mortgage Support, Inc. was created, outsourcing underwriting for several major mortgage companies in Jacksonville, Florida.  Within a few years the company had expanded to include, among other things, outsourcing legal review, placement of temporary personnel, performing branch audits, HMDA audits, and quality assurance for mortgage companies throughout the United States.
